Traceability
Product traceability is a management system that can identify and track each product from production through to distribution.
It therefore allows us to know the product’s characteristics (components, destination, preparation, etc.), which phase of the industrial process it is in, etc.
Product or part traceability is achieved through identification and unit codes. The most widely used code in the industrial field is the DataMatrix, although there are other types of 1D codes, such as barcodes, or 2D codes, such as QR.
